One beautiful place to visit while in Negev Israel is the Ein Gedi National Park located along the shores of the Dead Sea. Contrary to the dry, barren desert landscape of the Negev Desert, the Ein Gedi National Park is full of life. One can spend just a few hours taking in the breathtaking view or spend the day exploring the handful of trails open to adventure. Each path takes its visitors through an extraordinary hike of lush vegetation, exotic wildlife, waterfalls and wonderful sites such as the Dodim Cave, the Chalcolithic Temple, the Dead Sea and the Mountains of Moab.

An amazing historical site located in Negev Israel is the Masada National Park. Here visitors can explore the remains of King Herod’s magnificent fortress. The Yigail Yadin Masada Museum displays numerous artifacts discovered throughout the ancient fortress. Between the months of March and October, the park hosts a Sound and Light Show sharing the story of the Jewish rebels during the Great Revolt.
